Proverbs 1:5  “Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance.”

What’s at Stake

Every day, students in underserved communities go without the most basic tools for learning—books, supplies, even shoes.

When classrooms lack resources, bright futures can dim before they begin. When global connections aren’t made, understanding and opportunity are lost. When we don’t act, education suffers—and entire communities miss out on the power of knowledge.

But together, we can change that.

Our Beginnings: Where the journey began

Every great movement starts with a single, purposeful action. For BBRidgESZ that spark was ignited at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. In the early days, the mission was driven me, the co-founder working alongside a dedicated group of students. We spent countless hours collecting donated books, carefully sorting through titles, labeling grade levels, and boxing up resources to ensure that every item sent across the ocean was of the highest quality and relevance. By turning a personal passion for education into a structured mission, we foster lasting educational partnerships that empower the next generation.

Taking Books to the Children

True change is never a solo endeavor; it is the result of dedicated people coming together with a shared purpose. At Foundation College, I am honored to work alongside Mr. and Mrs. Moyo and my co-founder, Nyasha Mutava, to turn vision into reality. This partnership is the heartbeat of our progress, combining local leadership with global resources to elevate the educational standard for every student. By aligning our strengths, we aren’t just discussing improvements—we are actively installing the infrastructure and providing the materials that empower the next generation of leaders.

Working with People that Make Things Happen: It’s Fountain College

Every journey we take is an opportunity to fuel a child’s imagination and academic potential. I personally bring suitcases filled with library books, vital office supplies, and classroom manipulatives with every visit, ensuring that these resources reach the hands of those who need them most. BBRidgESZ has already made a tangible impact by providing comprehensive curriculum materials and a diverse selection of classroom books for Chidobe Primary, directly supporting both student literacy and teacher effectiveness. By turning every trip into a delivery of hope, we are building a foundation for lifelong learning and community success.

What People are Saying

In April 2024, Ms. Cynthia Wheat and BBRidgESZ came to our school with donations of updated curriculum materials, text books, and library books. This helped learners especially Grade 7 students whose passing rate improved by 10 percentage points on national examinations.

Teacher access to current curriculum materials & providing students with reading materials  played a key role in our success. Of much interest are some published books written by students of Ms. Wheat in which are now motivating our learners to write creatively.
